Public Sector Consultants (PSC) and the Center for Michigan (CFM) have partnered in countless ways to move Michigan forward. For the past eight years, CFM has used PSC for public policy research and public engagement consulting services, and PSC veteran Craig Ruff currently serves on CFM’s steering committee. We strongly believe in the work that CFM does for Michigan, which is why we wanted to let you know about this great opportunity.

On Monday, October 5, CFM will host the Career Navigation Solutions Summit. This half-day policy conference is presented in partnership with WDET at Schoolcraft College in Livonia and will explore the findings of CFM’s latest public engagement report, Getting to Work: The Public’s Agenda for Improving Career Navigation, College Affordability, and Upward Mobility in Michigan. Participants will have an opportunity to help develop policy recommendations to improve college, training, and career navigation assistance for Michigan’s young people.

Speakers at this event will include Representative Amanda Price, Representative Adam Zemke, and Governor Rick Snyder’s Education Policy Advisor Karen McPhee. Expert panelists will include representatives from the Michigan College Access Network, the Michigan School Counselor Association, and the MSU College Advising Corps; regional and national leaders in college and career navigation; and much more. Visit here for a full agenda and speaker biographies.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please share this invitation with members of your network, and REGISTER TODAY. Don’t wait, space is limited!
