Kent County Community Conversations Overview
Kent County is in the process of updating the county’s strategic plan. As part of the process, we will be holding community conversations to allow our residents an opportunity to participate in the plan’s development.
To ensure everyone feels comfortable providing open and honest feedback, Public Sector Consultants, a Lansing-based research and project management firm, will be hosting the three community conversations for Kent County. At the meetings, residents will hear from Kent County administrator Wayman Britt on Vision for 2020 (the county’s current strategic plan) and his outlook for the future. There will also be time for residents to discuss with other community members their thoughts on what goals and action items should be included in the county’s next five-year strategic plan.
These meetings will be conversational and held at small-group tables. They are designed to encourage dialogue between you and your neighbors to aid in the development of shared priorities for your community.
The meetings will all cover the same information. Due to space constraints, only 100 people will be registered for each meeting. Please fill out as much of this information as possible, including selecting which community meeting you will be attending. If there is not space left in the meeting date you select, someone will follow up with you.
All meetings will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
