Ryan Klaus

Manager, Green Finance, Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund

Whenever Ryan writes a song, he is keenly aware that he has only a few hundred words to craft a complete story. With this in mind, he carefully considers how to make the most of every lyric. This approach to his favorite hobby is one that Ryan carries over to his innovative finance career to ensure maximum impact of available funding for mission-driven investments.

At PSC, Ryan applies his financial and credit analysis expertise to support the Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund (CEJJF), an Illinois green bank, as the manager for green finance. He leads financial strategy, product development, and capital deployment in advancement of CEJJF’s mission to utilize financing to make clean energy and its benefits accessible for all Illinois residents.

Early in his career, Ryan worked as an innovative finance analyst for the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, where he developed financial models for new and existing strategic initiatives and aided the organization’s efforts to access impact investment capital for its programs. Most recently, Ryan helped establish and structure transactions for the New Jersey Green Bank.
