Carefully choosing the embroidery pattern and colors may be the beginning of Sarah’s latest textile arts project, but seeing the intricate stitches come together as a completed picture is what deeply satisfies her. Unafraid to rip out stitches and try again, Sarah applies this same attentiveness and hard work to every project she undertakes. Planning, visualizing the final outcome, and spending the time it takes to create a polished product allow Sarah to be thoughtful and creative in her work at PSC.
As a senior consultant, Sarah conducts research, provides analysis, and writes reports related to health and human services policy issues at the state and local levels. She also plans and facilitates meetings, discussion groups, and stakeholder engagement activities to gather and analyze feedback. Sarah also offers strategic counsel for a variety of clients in the health and human services sphere.
At PSC, Sarah draws on her 20 years of experience working in all sides of the public service triangle—nonprofit, state government, and the private sector—to advocate for improved outcomes for children, families, and adults. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the nonprofit and state government sectors as a project director for several federally funded initiatives.
