Bob Foster has kept an eye on how people have been using their energy ever since he started work at an auto assembly plant more than 25 years ago. His mentors—from maintenance personnel to seasoned engineers—instilled in him a deep care for energy, its value, and the role it plays in setting goals. As he moved through his career, he let that care develop into a razor-sharp skill for teaching others about the best products and methods to boost their energy efficiency.

As a contractor account manager with Michigan Saves, a multimillion-dollar green bank managed by PSC, Bob works every day with contractors and customers who are seeking ways to improve their residential and commercial facilities’ energy use. He keeps an eye on the latest trends and helps folks grow their businesses or increase the comfort and safety of their buildings with improved appliances and more sophisticated controls. Every day is a new challenge, but the goal stays the same—improve efficiency for everyone.

Prior to joining PSC, Bob worked in the energy efficiency field for more than a decade in every facet, from lighting a home with LED bulbs to melting steel with electric arc foundry furnaces.
