At Public Sector Consultants (PSC), we are fortunate that clients regularly hire us to do interesting and important public policy work that moves Michigan forward. Every now and then, our staff members are also called upon to work pro bono on consequential topics that directly touch people’s lives.
For example, PSC senior policy fellow Ken Sikkema recently served as co-chair of the Flint Water Advisory Task Force. Gov. Rick Snyder created this independent body to identify the causes of the crisis, recommend solutions to help the Flint community, and suggest policy changes necessary to safeguard all Michigan residents in the future. On March 23, the results were released in a comprehensive report.
