Megan’s quest to combine her love of language with her commitment to social justice has led her down such disparate career paths as English professor and executive director of a literacy nonprofit. Whether working with undergraduates or English language learners, she’s maintained a commitment to helping people improve their writing and communication skills, because academia taught her the ways in which language shapes the world and nonprofits showed her that the best world is the one in which every voice can be heard.

As a senior editor at PSC, Megan gets to apply this unique combination of desires. She copyedits and proofreads the firm’s written materials and also works with the editing team to handle the firm’s busy production queue and offer workshops to help PSC staff enhance their writing skills.

Before joining PSC, Megan worked as the assistant calendar editor at the Ann Arbor Observer, as an English professor at Michigan State University, and at several small literacy nonprofits.
