Anna spent much of her childhood working on her family’s farm, where she helped tend the land and care for an array of animals, like horses, pigs, cows, and chickens. Life on the farm instilled in her a deep appreciation for the natural world and a sense of responsibility for improving the lives of all the creatures who inhabit it. Now in Lansing, without quite as many critters around, Anna’s experiences still guide her everyday choices.
As a consultant on the energy and environment team, Anna supports a range of projects, conducting research, analyzing data, and writing reports. She also utilizes ArcGIS to visualize spatial data and produce high-quality maps.
Prior to joining PSC, Anna served as a research analyst for the Michigan Legislature, where she helped inform the development of legislation by providing state legislators and legislative staff with objective, nonpartisan research on topics like environmental protection and outdoor recreation. She also has experience working in the executive branch of state government and in academia.
