Roderick has been involved with music throughout his life. When he was younger, he played violin, sang in choir, and—before he was eight—knew (and sang along with) every lyric in Mariah Carey’s hit song “We Belong Together.” Even when he was studying psychology and public policy in college he made time to go to concerts and explore any and every genre of music.
As a research associate at PSC, Roderick always hits the right note by creatively tackling any topic that comes his way. He supports consultants and clients by providing research for various projects across the firm’s teams while also making sure everything is accessible to the audience he is addressing. He also works with clients and staff to ensure PSC is asking the right questions and talking to the right people to build connections and find innovative solutions.
Prior to joining PSC, Roderick worked at the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research and the Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection at Michigan State University, where he helped conduct research on topics ranging from international counterfeit criminal statues to the widespread closure and release of patients from psychiatric hospitals under deinstitutionalization in Michigan.
