Culture is much more than a buzzword

It’s a way of being, bringing our whole selves to work, and showing up for our colleagues — many of whom we call friends. We’re more than the work we do, and we’ve all got social, emotional, and physical lives that flourish with a healthy work‐life balance. We are invested in creating a thriving and inclusive workplace to deliver a welcoming experience for our clients, our team, and our community.

Community involvement

We give back to the community through board service, volunteering, speaking engagements, and financial support — to name a few of the places we show up for Michigan. We embrace creative ways to make an impact and support our neighbors wherever we go.

A place for you, wherever you are

At PSC, if there’s one thing we’ve learned in the last few years, it’s that we can weather many storms together, including operating at full capacity with a staff that lives all around the state — and sometimes across the country. We recognize that being bound to a desk in the office isn’t always practical for everyone, and we work hard to accommodate staff who make their home outside of Michigan’s capital city. Living locally isn’t a requirement to join our team, but we want you to know that you have a place here in Lansing. Exploring the city, surrounding communities, and even the possibility of settling in the middle of the Mitten is another area where our unique culture can enrich your life. If you’re thinking about relocating, Lansing 5:01 can tell you a little more about what the area has to offer.

Scott Dzurka, vice president
“I appreciate the number of policy projects I touch on a daily basis. The range is so great — from justice issues to vaccinations to harm reduction — no two days are alike. Through PSC, I get a chance to impact policy that improves lives and livelihoods. It’s great to see it talked about and still benefitting people long after we worked on it.”

Scott Dzurka, Vice President with PSC since 2017
