Krystal Garcia Centeno

Administration and Operations Coordinator, Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund

Krystal’s passion for justice and politics took root as early as fifth grade when she was a candidate in a mock election, thoroughly enjoying the meaningful debates and discussions with her classmates about important issues. By middle school, even her Beatles phase became a platform for championing world peace and fairness. Krystal developed a habit of making everything political, finding ways to connect subjects like music and class assignments to the broader issues she hoped to change. Today, those early sparks of conviction guide her career, where she champions the idea that even behind-the-scenes operations are vital to advancing a greater mission.

Krystal is the administration and operations coordinator for the Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund (CEJJF). She oversees the execution of internal operations and acts as a key connector across teams. She focuses on building strong organizational processes and driving operational efficiency, ensuring that the foundation is in place to support CEJJF’s growth and long-term impact.

Krystal brings over five years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining CEJJF, she contributed to the development and communications team at re:power, a national training organization dedicated to advancing a liberated democracy. She has also worked for the Sierra Club and Warehouse Workers for Justice, supporting operations for national and local teams on environmental and labor justice campaigns.
