Van Ikner

Director of Engagement and Partnerships, Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund

As a kid, Van thrived at the playground. He loved meeting new friends, making up games, and reinventing himself as various characters—Spider-Man was always a favorite. And underneath that rich imaginary world was a strong sense of connection with others, finding common interests and turning ideas into action. It turns out that while Van was playing, he was also preparing for his future career.

Van is a bridge builder between communities and the systems that serve them. In his role as director of engagement and partnerships at the Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund, a green bank supported by PSC, he is committed to ensuring that clean energy investments reach the people who need them most.

Prior to his role at PSC, Van was an engagement specialist focused on clean energy outreach. He also has experience in reentry education for justice-impacted men and serves on the Jackson County Board in Illinois.
